 Cersaie Award 2008

Ceramica Del Conca wins the Cersaie Award for the best 2008 design exhibit, overcoming 1,000 booths.  The project of the San Marino architects studio “Valentini and Selva” was carried out in cooperation with the best of Made in Italy: B&B Italia, Flaminia and Flos.

The 26th Cersaie edition had been enriched by a new prize for the sector companies. On Tuesday evening, September 30, the ceremony for Cersaie Award, a prize given to the best booths of the fair, took place in the wonderful setting of Re Enzo palace, with the VIPs of Confindustria Ceramica and of the italian and international media. Selected by a qualified jury including Aldo Colonetti (Director of Ied Milano), Gilda Bojardi (Director of Interni) and Franco Origoni (Studio Origoni&Steiner), the prize was assigned to Ceramica Del Conca for the ceramic tiles category. This acknowledgement is the result of the group’s great efforts. Thanks to the work of the San Marino architect studio “Valentini and Selva”, Del Conca radically changed its booth spaces, about 800 sqm, giving its visitors the chance to enter in a sequence of room scenes furnished with the best of Made in Italy design. This is a great co-marketing initiative between Italian companies of complementary sectors, each one leader in its sector. With its latest creations the Del Conca Group realized new floor and wall tiles; baths and faucets were represented by the most actual and elegant Flaminia proposals. The furnishing – exclusive trendy creations , but already timeless classics, were provided by B&B Italia; the decorative lighting, true contemporary living icons, were Flos prerogative.

Thousands of people came to Del Conca booth during the 5 days exhibition and a huge crowd was there for Aldo Serena, currently technical soccer analyst on Mediaset channels and unforgotten football player in many Italian teams and in the National Football Team during the nineties. Serena was present at Del Conca booth thanks to the Partnership linking Del Conca to the Italian National Football Team until South Africa 2010 World Championship: after participating in a nice double interview with Mr. Mularoni, he has been very friendly with all fans requesting photos and autographs.
